We’ll send a courtesy email to let you know when we’re ready to charge and ship your order and to get your credit card information.
WHOLESALE TERMS
Orders can be placed through our online wholesale portal or you may also email orders from your PO system to customerservice@tatinecandles.com. You’re welcome to call us too—whatever works best for you, we’re here to help get your order in!
You must order items in their case pack multiple—split cases are not allowed. Testers are limited to one per fragrance ordered. Testers cannot be ordered without a corresponding case pack.

LEAD TIME
Orders would normally ship in 10-12 business days, but due to Covid-19 and the nature of our handmade product we will do our best to turn your order around in approximately 3 weeks. Let us know in the notes section of your order if you’d like us to ship on your own UPS account number. We are also accepting orders with a future ship date if requested and we will do our best to honor it.
SHIPPING + DELIVERY
All wholesale orders are shipped via UPS Ground, unless you have reached out to us to make other arrangements. You may also provide us with your UPS account number and we can bill your shipping to your account.
When ordering, please include your current shipping address as we may not be aware if your address has changed since your last order.
If you suspect your order has been incorrectly delivered or lost, please reach out to us at info@tatinecandles.com and we will reach out to UPS customer service. We will look into the issue and assess if a replacement order needs to be sent. Tatine is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are received at your location; please ensure your orders are delivered to the appropriate location so they’ll arrive safely.
We do not ship in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold) as it may damage our handcrafted products. If extreme weather occurs and we must hold your shipment, we will notify you by phone or email.
We are able to ship internationally either using your US freight forwarder’s address or shipping direct through your shipping account. We can also quote international rates through one of our carrier accounts. Customs duty and Value-Added Tax are the responsibility of the receiver, and Tatine has no control over shipping delays due to customs. It is your responsibility to notify us of any special paperwork, carton markings, or instructions required by your freight forwarder.
RETURN POLICY
Our work is 100% handcrafted. Slight variations from candle to candle are considered a part of the unique handcrafted process and are to be expected. Some of our glass is mouth-blown and may have unique differences between each glass.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final on wholesale orders. No returns or exchanges will be offered on the basis of product scent. All claims for shortages and/or damages must be reported to Tatine within 3 business days of receipt of merchandise. Providing supporting photos/documentation is required for all damages. After a review of your request, we will either replace any missing/damaged goods or process a refund/issue a credit memo. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

We will try to protect territory up to one mile between accounts at our discretion. We reserve the right to approve or disapprove accounts based on current territory and fit. We will do all we can to try and protect our loyal established customers. We do our best to research each city and state, so bear with us if we make a mistake! Accounts must order a total of $3,000.00 in a calendar year to be granted territory protection. We reserve the right to sell to a neighboring store if you don’t meet that minimum.
E-COMMERCE POLICIES
You are welcome to sell Tatine products on your brick-and-mortar store’s website, or through your e-commerce business. Selling Tatine products through third-party vendors like Amazon or Ebay is strictly forbidden! Product images for e-commerce can be found on our Press Kit page. Please email us at info@tatinecandles.com to obtain the passcode for access. We do not offer drop-shipping services for your e-commerce.
SAMPLES
Retailers may schedule an appointment with us via email to view our products in-person at our studio. Due to our production schedule, an appointment is necessary. No drop-ins please, thank you!

Our wholesale prices apply to stocking retailers only or online stores. Trade customers without a physical retail storefront or catalog operation, such as interior designers or corporate gifting entities, are subject to a trade pricing scale. If you qualify for trade pricing, please email info@tatinecandles.com for the trade pricing line sheet. Trade orders cannot be placed online and will not be accepted unless ordered at the trade pricing structure.
TRADE SHOWS
We attend the NY Now trade show biannually, in February and August of each year. Please come see us at the show as its the best way to see, smell, and touch our products! You can also contact us to find out where and when we’ll be showing the brand to obtain our booth number. Viewing the collections in person is highly valuable and encouraged.
PRODUCT PHILOSOPHY + INGREDIENTS
Our design collaborations with global artisans bring to life the timeless custom pieces into which we pour our bespoke fragrances, such as hand forged brass and mouth-blown glassware. The candle vessels are made in compliant factories by skillful artisans with the mission to create a second life through drink safe glassware or keepsake containers. These things mean a lot to our mission, which is to impart a quiet joy and timeless, meaningful quality of handcrafted wares. The studio utilizes recycled and FSC-certified paper stocks as much as possible in both our product packaging and shipping materials in order to make strides towards protecting our planet. Our apothecary products are formulated without sulfates or parabens and undergo sterile microbial testing to ensure purity. We choose to pass on plastic and use glass bottles with no extraneous packaging.
CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT
Tatine is not a private label manufacturer, we are a design and manufacturing studio specializing in custom fragrance and packaging development. Custom developments require a minimum order of 2,000 pieces, and we do not take on any projects during 4th quarter as it is our busiest time of the year.
With custom product development we can provide you with as much or as little assistance as you need; we develop fragrances according to your requests, help source vessels/glassware, provide design services for packaging and packaging consultation, and test all fragrances, wax, and wicks in your vessel to be sure they have a quality burn. There is a flat fee for all development-related costs in addition to the per-unit cost of the product.
Because the process is very in-depth and can take up to 4-6 months from start to finish, we recommend that you produce a minimum of 2,000 units in order for pricing to make sense. Below 2,000 units the per-unit cost gets prohibitively more expensive.
Please also note that we don't take on custom developments during fourth quarter as that is our busiest time of the year providing wholesale orders for the holiday season. We may also close our calendar for custom projects if we already have a project in progress.
Since custom projects vary greatly in size, scale, and scope, we aren’t able to provide blanket quotes for prospective projects. Design and Research and Development fees are established after we determine the scope of your project.
